Woman is a close-range gouache — a figure rendered at near distance in dense, layered color. The composition holds the subject without context: no background, no scene, no narrative apparatus. What the painting offers is proximity, and the weight of that proximity in paint.
Color is the primary instrument. The warmth of the palette is structural — it creates the intimacy the image carries rather than describing it.
